According to Starlink’s own Update (July 14 2025), the US median download speed across 2 million+ customers is nearly 200 Mbps, and typical lower-speed tiers deliver ~100 Mbps down / 20 Mbps up.
While these numbers are impressive, portable setups using Starlink Mini face additional variables (power, antenna placement, vehicular shading, battery capacity). As a battery-kit seller you must help customers align expectations:

Runtime vs throughput trade-off. Higher speeds consume power faster—users streaming 4K will drain batteries quicker than basic browsing. Recommend battery sizes accordingly.

Placement matters. Encourage roof-mount with clear sky view; poles or shaded mounts reduce performance and may extend runtime consumption.

Data-cap awareness. In mobile or roaming setups, understand that Starlink plans may throttle or charge overage (see pricing changes article). Battery longevity needs to match usage policy.

Use the battery as performance enhancer. Frame your product as enabling optimal performance: longer sessions, higher quality, less compromise.
