tarlink Mini brings high-speed satellite internet into a compact and portable device. It works by communicating directly with SpaceX’s growing low-earth-orbit (LEO) satellite constellation, orbiting at around 550 km altitude. This proximity significantly reduces latency, typically to 20–40 ms—comparable to terrestrial broadband and much lower than geostationary systems.
The Mini includes an integrated Wi-Fi router and a self-aligning dish (kickstand or optional mounts). Setup involves just powering it on, using the Starlink app to scan for obstructions, and establishing a connection—often in just a few minutes.
Because it bypasses cellular networks altogether, Starlink Mini offers connectivity in remote and underserved areas. However, performance can vary based on satellite availability, terrain, and time of day.
