Frequently asked questions
How long can the battery power the Starlink Mini?
Runtime varies by capacity:
99Wh: approx. 3–5 hours
180Wh: approx. 8–9 hours
200Wh: approx. 10+ hours (Even during live streaming, it lasts over 5 hours.)
depending on network load and environment.
Can I charge the Starlink Mini while charging the battery?
Yes. LiFirst battery supports pass-through charging when paired with a 25.2V 3A–4A DC adapter.
Original Starlink Mini adapter can also charge the battery, but only when the battery is not in use, due to its low-current trickle-charging design.
Does this battery support solar charging?
Absolutely. It can be used with direct DC solar input of up to 100W. This is better than using an inverter or USB-PD adapters.
This makes it a great choice for people who need internet when there is no power, like campers, field teams, and RV users.
Does it come with a charger?
No, it's designed for maximum flexibility. It works with most 25.2V DC chargers & up to 100W solar panels via direct DC input.
This gives users freedom to choose the most efficient charging method for their environment—home, RV, or field deployment.
The battery feels tight when inserting — is this normal?
Yes. The waterproof seal and locking clip may make the first insertion slightly firm, and ensure there is no obstruction around the connector (such as the RJ45 plug or modem port cover).
